Just Beat it, Beat it!

Day Two, and I have to say, I am SORE! I feel really good, though, too-- totally optimistic. I feel like I could climb (read hobble) to the top of a mountain. I can't believe how much my muscles ache. It doesn't feel like I pulled anything, just like I got an amazing workout.

I want to get to the grocery store to get some fruit and cottage cheese, maybe some more vegetables, and you want the ultimate irony is? I feel way to lazy to actually go and get some. Ugh, I probably should. It's not like I'm going to want to tomorrow. Maybe I can convince Beth to go grocery shopping with me? Hahaha Maybe use her car? :P

Hmm.. not much else going on. Still trying to get used to Lola, and Lola's still getting used to me. She's so crazy. What a little heartbreaker.

The First Cut is the Deepest

It was my first day doing "The Shred" today. The whole experience was both better AND worse than I could have ever dreamed. To motivate myself today was hard enough, but the true test will be tomorrow. I have a hard time keeping track of my progress, and I really want to. Since I'm usually always on the computer anyway, why not use a blog? I had one a million years ago on LiveJournal full of my day to day ramblings.

I guess I should take measurements, weight, etc., huh? The last time I weighed myself I was 215 lbs. We'll call it that. Luckily I don't have a scale, so I won't be able to torture myself by hopping on the scale again and again.

April 28
Weight: 215 lbs.
Bust: 44
Waist: 42
Hips: 49

Is that possible? I mean, I AM using a measuring tape for HOUSES. I'll measure myself in 30 days. I'll have to watch what I eat, though, that will help.

I feel pretty good, though I have to say I'm trying to see this as an opportunity to get healthy in all aspects of my life-- inside and out.
